For years, my work has been the kind of work that happens in person — at kitchen tables, on front porches, in the quiet hour before an offer night when we’re reviewing strategy one more time. That personal thread is something I never want to lose. But alongside it, I’ve been looking for a place to share the broader conversations — the ones that don’t fit into a single phone call, the market observations worth passing along, the neighbourhood stories that deserve more than a quick text.
That’s what this journal is for.
What you’ll find here
My plan is to write the way I’d talk to a client over coffee — clearly, honestly, and without the fluff. A few of the themes I’ll return to:
- Market updates — what I’m actually seeing on the ground, not just what the headlines say. Pricing trends, inventory shifts, buyer and seller sentiment, and the things that don’t always make it into the data.
- Neighbourhood guides — deeper looks at the pockets of Toronto I specialize in, from Lawrence Park and Forest Hill to Leslieville and Roncesvalles. What each one feels like. Who it’s right for. What to know before you buy in.
- Advice for buyers and sellers — the questions I hear most often, answered in the kind of detail that makes a real difference. How to read a competitive offer night. When to list, when to wait. What “move-in ready” actually means.
- Stories from the field — the transactions that taught me something, and the ones that might help you think about yours differently.
Why I’m doing this
Real estate is one of the most significant financial decisions most people ever make, and it’s also one of the most emotional. Good information — delivered calmly, without a pitch attached — makes the whole process feel less overwhelming. That’s what I want this space to be. Not a sales tool. A resource.
Buying or selling a home deserves expert advice, transparency, and an exceptional experience from start to finish. My hope is that this journal delivers a little of all three — whether you’re ready to make a move or simply curious about the market.
I’ll be posting regularly, so check back often. And if there’s something you’d like me to write about — a neighbourhood you’re considering, a question you’ve been sitting with, a piece of the process you want demystified — please reach out. I’d love to hear from you.
Thank you for being here.
